Earlier today 3/27/25, BTPD arranged to place three automated external defibrillator's (AED's) in-service at various locations throughout the RVA recreational fields. Each AED kit is equipped with adult and child defibrillation pads and instructional images. Please remember that in the event of an emergency, it is impetrative to call 911 immediately. These AED kits are not mean to substitute a call for help. However, this equipment can be used if needed while awaiting the arrival of first responders. Due to limitations regarding cold weather exposure, these AED's will remain in service throughout the remainder of the season, and will be removed towards the end of the year.
